Your questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions international patients ask most, on cost, safety, the process and what happens once you are home.

Costs & payment

Is your coordination really free to me?

Yes. My coordination is free to you because I am sponsored by a curated network of vetted partner hospitals. You only ever pay the clinic directly for your treatment, never me. There are no agency fees, mark-ups or commissions added to your bill.

How much will treatment cost compared with the UK?

For the same surgical standard, most procedures cost roughly 50 to 70% less than equivalent private treatment in the UK, depending on the procedure. Every figure is indicative and "from" until a surgeon confirms your individual plan; your final, itemised price is then set out in writing before you commit. There is no "price on request" and no hidden extras.

What is included in the price?

Quotes are all-inclusive and itemised, typically covering the procedure, surgeon and anaesthetist fees, hospital stay, medication, and airport and clinic transfers, with hotel accommodation where your treatment requires it. You see each line before you decide, so you know exactly what you are paying for. Anything not included is stated plainly rather than left vague.

How and when do I pay?

You pay the clinic directly, on the clinic's own terms, usually a deposit to reserve your dates and the balance around the time of treatment. Because the money goes to the hospital rather than to me, you keep a direct financial relationship with the people providing your care. I always explain the payment schedule in writing before anything is booked.

Safety & clinics

How do you choose the clinics you work with?

I only coordinate clinics that pass independent vetting: Ministry of Health registration, international accreditation such as JCI or TEMOS, membership of the relevant specialty society, and a genuine track record of procedure volume. I visit and reassess partners rather than relying on brochures. If a clinic cannot evidence those standards, it is not in the network.

Is treatment in Turkey safe?

Turkey's leading accredited hospitals work to international standards, and the surgeons I coordinate are licensed specialists in their field. That said, suitability, technique and outcomes are always determined by the qualified surgeon at your consultation, and results vary from person to person. My role is to make sure you are matched to a clinic with the right credentials for your specific case.

Can I see the surgeon's and clinic's credentials before I decide?

Yes. Before you commit to anything, you receive the clinic's accreditation details and the treating surgeon's qualifications and specialism, so you can verify them independently. You are encouraged to ask questions and take your time. Informed consent matters more than a fast booking.

Are you a doctor or a clinic?

No. I am an independent, USHAŞ-licensed health-tourism facilitator and patient advocate, not a hospital, not a clinic and not a medical practitioner. I do not provide treatment or medical advice. I coordinate accredited clinics and licensed surgeons on your behalf and stay accountable for the experience around your care.

The process & travel

How does the process start?

It begins with a direct conversation, usually on WhatsApp and in your own timezone, where you tell me what you are considering and share any relevant photos or records for the clinic to review. The clinic's surgeon then gives an initial assessment and an indicative plan. Nothing is booked until you have a written quote and have had your questions answered.

Will I deal with one person or a call centre?

One person, end to end. You have my direct WhatsApp rather than a marketplace, a rotating team or a call centre, and I work in your timezone. From the first message to your follow-up after you are home, you speak to the same accountable point of contact.

How long will I need to stay in Turkey?

It depends entirely on the procedure. Some dental and hair treatments need only a few days, while surgical recovery can require longer before you are cleared to fly. The clinic's surgeon advises the minimum safe stay for your specific case, and I plan travel and accommodation around that. I will never compress a timeline in a way that compromises your recovery.

What about travel, transfers and accommodation?

Airport and clinic transfers are coordinated as standard, and hotel accommodation is arranged where your treatment requires it, all set out in your itemised quote. I help you plan flights around the surgeon's recommended dates, though you book and hold your own flights directly. You always know who is collecting you and where you are staying before you travel.

Aftercare & guarantees

What aftercare do I get once I am home?

Aftercare is structured and follows you home, not left at the airport. You receive a written care plan you can hand to your own GP or local doctor, scheduled remote follow-up, and a 24/7 line if you have concerns. The aim is continuity of care across borders rather than a handshake at discharge.

What guarantees are in place if something goes wrong?

Written guarantees are agreed before you book, for example revision and complication policies, dental warranties, or hair-regrowth guarantees, depending on the procedure. You see the exact terms in advance, in writing, so there are no surprises later. If a documented complication arises, you have a clear, pre-agreed route to address it.

What if I have a problem or complication after I return?

Contact me first, at any hour, and I coordinate directly with the clinic on your behalf to resolve it under the terms you agreed. Where appropriate, the care plan you were given supports your local doctor in managing follow-up. You are not left to navigate a foreign healthcare system alone.
